The Kanoo Group Joins Fujairah's Open Day
A Leading Regional Conglomerate Showcases Career Opportunities to UAE Graduates
The Kanoo Group, one of the largest and most respected family-owned business groups in the Gulf region, was proud to take part in the Open Recruitment Day organised by the Fujairah Human Resources Department on 22 January 2026. Held at the Emirates Hall in the Al Bahar Hotel in Fujairah, the event brought together top employers and fresh graduates in one place — making it easier for young UAE nationals to find meaningful career paths.
The Kanoo Group sent a dedicated team to represent the company at the event. Fatima Abdul Aziz and Khadija Alshamsi, both part of The Emiratisation Team, led the company's presence throughout the day. They spoke directly with UAE national graduates, held face-to-face interviews, and explained the many job opportunities available across The Kanoo Group's different business areas.
The team didn't just hand out information sheets — they actively engaged with candidates, answered questions, and gave graduates a real look at what a career inside The Kanoo Group could look like. From finance and logistics to engineering and shipping, etc., the company shared details about roles across a wide range of industries it operates in.
Supporting the UAE's Emiratisation Programme
The UAE government's Emiratisation programme is a national effort to make sure more Emirati citizens have good jobs in both the public and private sectors. Maryam Al Busaidy, Head of Emiratisation, said, ”The Kanoo Group has been one of the strongest supporters of this programme for many years.
