BASF supplies polyurethane raw materials as blended liquid systems from which customers produce various types of foam. Industries using the foams include automotive and transportation, building and construction, footwear, furniture and appliance.
Meanwhile, BASF Chemetall Ltd.—located in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi’s industrial area—was acquired by BASF in December 2016. It is a leading global supplier of applied surface treatments for metal, plastic, and glass substrates in a wide range of industries and end markets.
